Application version: 0.1.0 · Last updated: October 5, 2026
Plotymis is published by OCTASQUARE MOBILE, a company incorporated in Chile. For product inquiries, privacy questions or requests concerning your data, please use our contact form. We handle inquiries through this channel and reply using the contact details you provide.
This notice describes the behavior of Plotymis version 0.1.0. Visiting the corporate website 8sq.io and interacting with web forms, cookies or WordPress services are outside this notice's scope. Those matters are covered separately by the website privacy policy.
Plotymis works with files and data on your own device, including:
plotymis.yaml files, Markdown manuscripts and story assets.Plotymis processes this information on your device, within your project folders and application-local data directories.
This version does not make automatic external requests for analytics, telemetry, advertising, synchronization, crash reports or AI features. Managed spelling dictionaries and legal notices are loaded from resources packaged with Plotymis.
Your operating system, WebView2 and platforms used to obtain or launch Plotymis (such as a software store) may operate network services under their own policies. Such activity is not a transfer of manuscript content initiated by Plotymis.
Context Builder can prepare context files, prompts and exports locally. Plotymis does not automatically send that content to OpenAI or any other AI provider.
If you copy or choose to share content with an external service, that service will handle the information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Plotymis writes to your clipboard when you explicitly choose a copy action in Context Builder. It can also open native file or folder pickers when you open or create projects, select files or import assets.
Your creative work stays in the folders you choose. Preferences, recent-project lists, indexes and Local History are stored in the application data directory defined by your operating system.
You can delete your projects by removing their folders. Once Plotymis is closed, you may also remove its auxiliary data from the relevant application data directory. Back up any content you wish to keep first: Plotymis cannot independently recover files deleted outside its local recovery mechanisms.
Plotymis does not claim ownership of your novels, notes, characters, entries, images or exported files. Your content remains under your control, subject to the rights of its respective owners.
If a future version introduces accounts, cloud synchronization, telemetry, analytics, automatic crash reporting or integrated remote AI functionality that materially changes these practices, this notice will be reviewed before that release is distributed.
For privacy questions or data-related requests concerning Plotymis, use the OCTASQUARE MOBILE contact form. Please identify Plotymis as the product concerned and avoid submitting manuscripts or unnecessary sensitive information.
This notice applies to Plotymis 0.1.0. The published text should remain consistent with the store listing, the notice bundled with the application and the website's actual data practices.
