www.8sq.io is the corporate website of OCTASQUARE MOBILE, a Chilean joint-stock company operating in Santiago. For questions concerning personal data, please use our contact form.

This policy covers browsing and interacting with the corporate website, including product presentation pages. It does not describe the local file processing performed by the Plotymis desktop application.

Information you provide when contacting us

When you use our contact form, you may provide information needed to identify and respond to you, such as your name, contact details and message, depending on the form's enabled fields. We use this information to answer inquiries, quotation requests, product questions, support requests and privacy-related questions.

Technical browsing data

This website uses WordPress and web hosting services. Depending on the actual configuration of the server and services, technical logs may contain access dates and times, IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and security events. These records may be needed to deliver the site, keep it operating and prevent abuse.

Other site features

If the website later adds comments, accounts, subscriptions, purchases, analytics or other features that require additional personal data, their purposes and conditions should be disclosed and this policy updated before those features are offered.

The website uses WordPress and page design tools such as Elementor. Its operation may involve our hosting provider, installed extensions and technical services needed to publish and secure content.

The Contact page contains an embedded Google form. When you interact with it, certain technical data and any information you choose to submit may be processed through Google's services, under its terms and Privacy Policy. That external form is not operated in exactly the same way as the corporate website.

Some pages may also include maps, links or content from other websites. Opening or interacting with those resources may result in connections to the relevant third-party provider. External services may operate infrastructure outside Chile.

Personal data should not be shared with parties unrelated to these purposes unless a valid legal basis exists, disclosure is necessary to provide the service or a legal obligation applies. Technical providers may act as processors or independent controllers depending on their role and terms.

Under the conditions provided by applicable Chilean law, you may ask for information about the personal data we process, access it, request its correction or deletion where appropriate, and exercise any other rights granted by current legislation.

To submit a request, use the contact form and write “Privacy / Personal data” in your message or subject. Describe your request and include a way for us to respond. Do not include passwords, complete identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.

Chile's new personal data protection legislation, Law No. 21,719, is scheduled to take effect on December 1, 2026. This policy should be reviewed and updated in light of the information duties and other obligations that apply.

7. Children and teenagers

The corporate contact form is not specifically intended to collect personal information from minors. If you need to make an inquiry concerning a minor, the person with appropriate parental or legal responsibility should submit it, in accordance with applicable law.
